Why Leader Corps
The Problem: “I’m Stuck”
Most students we hear from have no idea what they want to do, what skills to deploy, and no idea how to narrow the broad playing field of career options.
Our Solution: Gain Clarity
We teach students how to identify their passion, define their personal strengths, and create a career statement that underpins a classic elevator speech personal brand statement.
The Problem: No Career Vision
86% of US college students graduate without a clear vision for their career. Many colleges do not equip students with the practical skill-sets to self-identify personal skills with interests to chart a purposeful career path.
Our Solution: Full Immersion Program
Our one-week immersion program is flanked by a 45-day pre-program assessment process and post-program one-on-one career coaching engagement that on it’s own is the value of the entire program. Students enter a detailed formal process that helps them challenge their assumptions, reflect on their lives, and identify their professional passion and purpose.
The Problem: Lack of Professional Skills
Countless executives from the world’s top brands say that the majority of students do not graduate from university with the tangible skills they need to excel in the professional world.
Our Solution: Focused Training, Coaching, and Mentorship
Our executive coaches teach students the professional essentials necessary to thrive in business culture with laser-focus on Presence, Influencing, and Critical Thinking. Students learn and hone effective business communication skills, collaborative design-thinking methodology, turning analysis into action, TED Talk-style presentation skills, and influential negotiation techniques. Mentors post-program support skill sustainability and career search navigation for job success.
Student Testimonial – Victoria T. – C.U. Boulder
Going into Leader Corps, I was desperate for direction. As a senior in college at CU Boulder, I felt stressed and unprepared to join the workforce. Following my experience with the program, however, I not only feel like I gained a sense of direction, but I also feel like I am able to articulate my own strengths in a professional way. Kristin was awesome during the program and has been willing to…

LeaderCorps was the perfect step I needed to help me improve both my personal and professional life. The workshop allowed me to discover my core strengths and values, which I could then use to identify how I can use them to work towards my goals. Once I was able to identify how I can use my strengths to help me achieve my different goals, it gave me clarity and much more confidence. Entering senior year at…

UW when I signed up for LeaderCorps I knew that it was a great opportunity to improve my skills, but by the end of the week it gave me much more than I could have ever expected! I cannot express enough how much this workshop has helped me this year and I attribute most of my achievements this past year due to… the experiences and skills I developed in LeaderCorps along with the personal coaching after the program. Not only did I grow personally and professionally, I was able to create meaningful and supportive relationships with the other students on the trip. The support I felt during the trip and currently is amazing. They help keep me accountable and motivate me to take the next steps needed to pursue my goals. It is awesome to meet so many ambitious people from around the world and learn about what they are passionate about while also creating unique and lifelong relationships. If you are considering attending the LeaderCorps workshop, DO IT. I am so grateful that I did because it really changed my life and will continue to do so.

I began working with Kristin shortly after graduating from college. I had graduated from a top university with an aerospace engineering degree but had no real idea of what I wanted to do next, other than I didn’t want to be an engineer. Kristin helped me identify and articulate my strengths, which pointed me in the right direction. As I started to apply for jobs, she prepared me for…

every step of the process. At a pace that was right for me, I gained confidence that my skills were valuable and that I could find a position in which I could use those skills. I recently started my first full-time job at an excellent company, and I owe thanks to Kristin for putting me in a position to succeed. At every step, she has shown genuine interest in my success, and I am certain my work with her will continue to pay off as I launch my career.
