Why Leader Corps

The Problem: Ability to Pay Back Student Debt

Student loan debt in the U.S. is $1.2 trillion, the second highest category of debt behind mortgages. This financial burden is overwhelming millions of college students graduating without the means to pay it back.

Our Solution: Get a Job

We teach students how to identify their passion, acquire a job, and launch their career.

The Problem: No Career Vision

86% of US college students graduate without a job, and most without a vision for their career. Many colleges do not equip students with the practical skill-sets to excel in the workplace.

Our Solution: Full Immersion Program

Through our two-week global immersion program, students enter a formal process that helps them challenge their assumptions, reflect on their lives, and identify their professional passion and purpose.

The Problem: Lack of Professional Skills

Countless executives from the world’s top brands say that the majority of students do not graduate from university with the tangible skills they need to excel in the professional world.

Our Solution: Intensive Training and Mentorship

Our executive coaches teach students the professional essentials necessary to thrive in business culture with laser-focus on Presence, Influencing, and Critical Thinking. Students learn and hone effective business communication skills, collaborative design-thinking methodology, turning analysis into action, TED Talk-style presentation skills, and influential negotiation techniques. Mentors post-program support skill sustainability and career search navigation for job success.

Student Testimonial – Eric Veith

I began working with Kristin shortly after graduating from college. I had graduated from a top university with an aerospace engineering degree but had no real idea of what I wanted to do next, other than I didn’t want to be an engineer. Kristin helped me identify and articulate my strengths, which pointed me in the right direction. As I started to apply for jobs, she prepared me for every step of the process. At a pace that was right for me, I gained confidence that my skills were valuable and that I could find a position in which I could use those skills. I recently started my first full-time job at an excellent company, and I owe thanks to Kristin for putting me in a position to succeed. At every step, she has shown genuine interest in my success, and I am certain my work with her will continue to pay off as I launch my career.
